Qualification pathway for 2020 Olympics- Archery (Individual events)

Indian Archery Federation has a chance of sending atleast one archer in both the Men's and Women's Individual event, if they do not qualify as a team for the 2020 Olympics.
 
There are three ways in which the India can qualify an individual athlete per gender for the 2020 games.
 
In 2019 World Archery Championship four quota places will be allocated to the NOC’s of the highest ranked athletes from NOC’s which have not qualified through the team competition. Only one athlete per gender from a NOC can qualify for the Olympics. 
 
Indian archers should win a medal in the Asian Continental Qualification Tournament organized by the World Archery Federation to represent India at Tokyo Olympics. They can qualify in both the men and women individual event, if they are able to win a medal in both the events at the tournament.
 
The final opportunity to get into the Olympics is to participate in the Final Qualification Tournament and be the highest ranked athlete among the athletes who have not qualified for the 2020 Games. In this tournament also they can qualify athlete in both the events.
     
 
In addition to it, the Indian athletes who have qualified for the Olympics will have to achieve the score given below from starting of the qualification period till the end of the period.
 
For Men 70m round: 640
For Women 70m round: 605
 
Mixed Teams
 
India can take part in this event, if they have qualified athletes in both the men and women individual event. Only 16 top ranked teams according to the score obtained by them as a pair in the Qualification round of Olympics are allowed to take part it in this event.
