Muhammed Anas broke his national record to Qualify for the World Championship

Muhammed Anas clocked a time of 45.21s to break the national record at Kladino  Athletics Meet, Czech Republic and qualify for the 2019 World Athletics Championships . He bettered his own national record time of 45.24s set by him in 2018. The timing ran by Anas will improve his world ranking and help him to qualify for the Olympics. 

Hima Das(200m) won her third gold in less than two weeks with a time of 23.43s at the same event.  It is her best timing in these two weeks which shows that Hima is slowing getting back to her top form. All the three races timings might improve her World Rankings . If she improves at the same pace, Hima has a good chance of  qualifying for World Athletics Championships. 

Javelin Throw Contingent put up a good show to bag all the medals in this event. Vipin Khasana got the gold while Abhishek Singh won the Silver and Ravinder Singh picked up the bronze medal for the country with efforts of 82.51m, 77.32m and 76.58m respectively. 

Asian Games Gold Medallist Tejinder Singh threw the iron ball to a distance of 20.63m and bagged the gold medal for India. It is the best performance for him in this year. He has a very good opportunity of improving it and qualify for the World Championship.Vishmaya ran a good race in 400m to clock her personal best time of 52.54s and win the gold medal for the country. SaritabenGayakwad finished third with a time of 53.37s.

Indian Athletes put up a superb show to win 6 gold, 3 Silver and 1 bronze medals on the first day of XXllInternational Memorial Competition held at  Bishek, Kyrgyzstan.  National Record Holder Sreeshankar leaped to 7.97m and secure the gold medal for India.  It was the best jump for him in this year.  This performance will give him confidence to record a jump to qualify for the big event in September.  The Jump will also better his world rankings.

Other Indian’s to win the gold were:- Archanain 100m (11.74s), Harish Kumar in  400m (46.76s), Lili Das in 1500m (4:19.05), SahilSilwalin Javelin Throw (78.50m) and Women's 4x100m Relay team (45.81s).

Silver Medals went to Rahulin 1500m (3:50.69), Jishna Mathew in400m (53.76s) and GajaAnand Mistry in 400m (47.23s) while the bronze medal went to Rohit Yadav Javelin Throw (73.33m).

All the Indian Athletes put up a superb performances across various events to show their potential to the audience . All the athletes have used the opportunity very well and improved their respective timings and throws in their respective events.
