  • As of June 2016, she is the top-ranked table tennis player in India and is ranked 115th in the world.
  • She won three medals at the 2015 Commonwealth Table Tennis Championships, winning silver in the women's team event (with Ankita Das and Mouma Das) as well as the women's doubles event (with Ankita Das) and bronze in the women's singles event.
  • Batra won three gold medals at the 2016 South Asian Games,winning the women's doubles event (with Pooja Sahasrabudhe), mixed doubles event (with Anthony Amalraj) and women's team event (with Mouma Das and Shamini Kumaresan).
  • In 2011, Batra won the silver medal in the under-21 category of the Chile Open.



Currently the top ranked player in India and 115th in the world. She has had an impressive rise after taking to the sport as a four year old. She even dropped out of college to concentrate on table tennis. Her first big medal came in the U-21 category of the ChileOpen. She won a silver. She has represented India in the 2014 Commonwealth Games and Asian Games.


At the Commonwealth Championship in 2015, Manika won three medals – silver in team and doubles and a bronze in the singles. The year 2016 brought her gold medals in the South Asian Games, Guwahati _doubles, mixed doubles and team. In the singles, her compatriot Mouma denied her the gold when she won the final. Manika qualified for the Rio Games by winning the South Asia Group of the qualification tournament held in Hong Kong early this year.
