India defeated China to keep hopes alive in the WSF World women's team squash.

Dalian (China): After a defeat in the first round yesterday, India scripted a 3-0 win over host China in a Group C league to keep its hope alive of qualifying for the knock out phase in the WSF women's world team championship here on Wednesday.

Eleventh seeded India's next and last match in the Group against the sixth seed, France tomorrow will now be crucial. A win will help India progress.

Against China, Sunayna Kuruvilla as the number one player set the tone for India's victory with her win over China's top player Li Dong Jin over four games. Tanvi Khanna ensured the win-margin with her win and Aparajitha Balamurukan completed the fomality.
