India’s Table Tennis challenge comes to an end at Rio as Sharath Kamal crashes out

Rio de JaneiroSharath Kamal was a big hope for India in the Table Tennis as Mouma Das, Manika Batra and Soumyajit Ghosh all crashed out for India. Sharath Kamal’s opponent was ranked 17th which is much higher than him. Sharath Kamal was determined to show some great performance and the score was leveled 5-5 at one stage in the first game, but the experience of Adrian ensured that he wins the first game.
First game lost by Sharath Kamal 8-11
Sharath played with grit in the second game and he led 8-6 in the second game. It went to deuce 12-12. Ultimately Crisan emerged the winner.
Second Game lost by Sharath 12-14.
Sharath Kamal made an incredible comeback and took the third game 11-9.
Third game won by Sharath 11-9
In the fourth game Sharath managed well and was 6-6 at one point but the pressure created by opponent took better of Sarath and Crisan won the game.
Fourt game lost by Sharath 6-11
Though Sharath tried to fight back hard, Crisan proved to be too good for him and the last game went to the Romanian Crisan.
Fifth game lost by Sharath 8-11
With this Indian challenge came to an end at Rio in TT.
