AFC Bournemouth winger joins Robertson, Fabianski, Ritchie and Pereira in having their 2019/20 Fantasy prices announced

AFC Bournemouth's Ryan Fraser is among the first Fantasy Premier League players to have his 2019/20 price revealed.

The winger produced seven goals, 14 assists and 181 FPL points last season.

Fraser is now available for £7.5m, up £2.0m from last term’s initial cost of £5.5m.

Despite his rise in price, Fraser's opening schedule suggests he can continue to offer value for money from the outset.

AFC Bournemouth face just two of last season’s top six sides in the opening 10 Gameweeks.

Magnificent seven
Last season's top-scoring defender Andrew Robertson is available for £7.0m after his record-breaking season.

The Liverpool left-back became the first defender to surpass the 200-point mark in FPL history, producing 213 points in 2018/19.

One of the standout defenders for all-round potential, Robertson combined 12 assists with 21 clean sheets.

The Scot was the second most-bought defender in FPL last term, with over 2.6m transfers in.

Although he will again be a popular pick, the price of his team-mates Virgil van Dijk and Trent Alexander-Arnold will be vital in assessing the Liverpool backline.

Jump in valuation
Lukasz Fabianski has earned a slight price rise after another excellent FPL season.

The West Ham United goalkeeper now costs £5.0m on the back of his 143 points in the last campaign.

Fabianski’s potential for save points will again be a big factor.

Although he managed only seven clean sheets, his 148 saves last season were more than any other goalkeeper.

Those saves alone earned Fabianski 38 Fantasy points, the equivalent of more than nine extra clean sheets.

Move into defence
Matt Ritchie’s new role for Newcastle United has earned him a change of position in FPL.

The Scotland international costs £5.5m and is listed as a defender, having featured as a wing-back in the final months of 2018/19.

It remains to be seen whether the Magpies will retain those tactics under a new manager after the announcement that Rafael Benitez will leave at the end of June.

Nonetheless, Ritchie could be one to watch this season.

He produced two goals, eight assists and 10 clean sheets last term, and also takes corners and penalties for Newcastle.

Pereira bonus
Ricardo Pereira’s all-round performances for Leicester City have earned him a price of £6.0m this season.

The Portugal international started last term at £5.0m and, just like Newcastle’s Ritchie, he went on to supply two goals, eight assists and 10 clean sheets.

Pereira’s defensive contribution also boosts his prospects in the Bonus Points System (BPS), which determines the bonus points in a match.

His 66 successful tackles were second among defenders, helping him to a further 22 bonus points.

That could give him the edge over fellow Foxes defenders Ben Chilwell and Harry Maguire should they be priced similarly.
