Biography

The Tiruppur lad was a kho kho player initially before switching to athletics. He has shown his prowess in the hurdles also. But it was as a link in the 400 quartet that Dharun has been making waves. He hails from a humble background but by sheer dint of hardwork and timely breaks came up the ladder.

Dharun has consistently shown his abilility at the University level and that brought him into the national reckoning. At the South Asian Games this year in Guwahati, he won the gold in the 400 m hurdles and the 4 x 400 relay in the February SAF Games in Guwahati.
